The Stella handle is part of an accessibility suite of hardware designed for Parisi. These items, which are an integral part of everyday life, are often accepted as being unattractive. Smart Design Studio embraced this project to create options that are functional, compliant and beautiful: in line with the ethos of the studio.
We believe ‘form should follow function’, and as such the handle is stripped back to its pure form. Rather than concealing its detail, the solid escutcheon has visible fixings.
Constructed in solid brass, the handle is available in a range of finishes including satin chrome, black, white, satin gold and graphite. The handle feels good to hold while its hooked form assists people with restricted mobility.
