The interiors at ‘Alexander’ Barangaroo were inspired by the streamlined curves and beautiful finishing of classic timber yachts. The smooth forms have been paired with matte timbers and rough tiles, resonating with the raw and unpolished history of the old dockyards.
Expand ContentThe 77 apartments are generously proportioned and effortlessly simple. While all have a 5-star green star rating, two options for finishes differentiate the dwellings. The Oak scheme, with American Oak joinery, flooring, and honey tones, provides a calm option. Conversely, the Cordovan finish palette features bold red stained joinery combined with grey tiled floors and carmine accent tiles.
Engaged to furnish and customise the penthouse, our client wanted to alter their apartment to complete the original vision and integrate volumes of storage. The concept started in the living area with curved custom joinery, and furnishings to compliment the specially commissioned artwork by Camille Hannah that is the room’s primary feature. The balcony has been furnished so that when the doors are open it feels like one cohesive space.
